The hot recycling asphalt mixer heats and loosens the asphalt pavement, adds a certain amount of new asphalt, new asphalt mixture, etc., and through hot mixing, paving, rolling and other processes, achieves the technology of one-time recycling of old asphalt pavement. 1. 100% on-site recycling of waste asphalt mixture, drastically cutting purchase of new aggregates. Complies with international environmental regulations and reduces solid-waste disposal costs.

2. 360° rotary uniform heating for drum with double-layer ceramic cotton thermal insulation. First-batch heating takes only 15-20 minutes; subsequent batches take 10-15 minutes. High thermal efficiency saves diesel consumption.

3. Modular optional configurations: hot-asphalt system and emulsified-asphalt spraying system. Users can select either one or integrate both to control capital investment as required.

4. Siemens PLC intelligent touch-screen control system with combined time-temperature control to prevent asphalt mixture aging. Low-speed mixing avoids material segregation; reverse rotation discharges all materials completely within 0.5-1 minute.

5. Built-in high-power remote-controlled foldable LED lighting plus full-set warning & arrow indicator lights, enabling emergency repair on unlit road sections at night to meet overseas night-time maintenance requirements

6. Towable trailer chassis with torsion-bar shock absorption and off-road vacuum tires, maximum towing speed up to 80 km/h. Quick relocation between multiple work sites without special carrier trucks.


National Highway 13, Kampong Cham Province, Cambodia, Mile Marker: KH‑NH13‑KM72‑KM78

Project Background: This 6‑km section of national highway bears heavy truck traffic year‑round.

Challenges Faced:

1. The nearest local asphalt batching plant is about 68 km away. Hot‑mix asphalt cools rapidly during long‑haul transportation, leading to poor repair quality. No hot repair material is available when the batching plant stops production.

2. The pavement suffers extensive distresses including potholes, alligator cracking, and manhole‑surround damages. Waste asphalt fragments from traditional breaking work were landfilled directly, causing land occupation and environmental pollution with high waste‑hauling expenses.

3. Heavy daytime traffic leads to severe congestion if road maintenance is carried out in daylight. Most repair tasks have to be performed at night, yet old maintenance machines lack dedicated night‑shift lighting and safety warning accessories.

4. Local maintenance workforce is limited. Conventional repair equipment relies fully on manual feeding and discharging, which brings high labor intensity and low working efficiency.

Equipment Deployed: FND‑RZS1500L Towable Drum‑Type Hot‑Recycling Asphalt Mixer

Solutions Adopted:

1. Towed by maintenance vehicles, the machine arrives directly at damaged spots. Milled waste asphalt from pavement is fed into the drum for on‑site 100% hot recycling via 360° rotary heating. Long‑distance hot‑mix transportation from distant batching plants is eliminated.

2. PLC intelligent temperature‑control system precisely regulates heating parameters to avoid asphalt aging. It processes 800‑1000 kg recycled asphalt mixture per batch within a 10‑20‑minute heating cycle to produce qualified repair materials.

3. Remote‑controlled foldable LED lighting system together with 8 strobe warning lights and dual arrow indicator lights enable safe night‑time lane‑occupying construction. Road repair is arranged off‑peak to avoid daytime traffic jam.

4. Automatic reverse discharging finishes material release within 0.5‑1 minute, and recycled mixture is directly spread onto potholes. The integrated emulsified asphalt sprayer applies bonding coat to guarantee bonding performance between new and old pavement. Repair is completed after compaction by mini road roller.

Project Outcomes:

Total 137 potholes and manhole‑surround defects are repaired along the 6‑km highway section. All waste asphalt is recycled on‑site, cutting consumption of new aggregate and asphalt by 126 tons and removing all solid‑waste hauling costs. Time consumption for single‑pothole repair drops by 40%. Night‑time construction complies with local safety requirements and barely disturbs daytime traffic.

The equipment warranty period is 12 months, calculated from the date of equipment exfactory. For product quality defects, the Supplier shall provide maintenance guidance via telephone; onsite service is not included under warranty. Should onsite service be required, it shall be subject to mutual negotiation between both parties, and the Buyer shall bear all relevant travel and accommodation expenses. For componentrelated quality failures occurring within the warranty period, free repair or replacement shall be available upon mutual agreement with the Supplier. Wearandtear parts are excluded from this warranty.
